So how does this personality test work?
By answering the questions in the personality test, a calculation can be made as how introvert or extrovert you are, following on, as the questions continue the same is done for each scale. Sensor or Intuitor, Thinker or Feeler and finally Judger or Perceiver.
What are the four scales for the personality test metaprograms?
The four basic scales consist of eight simple metaprograms :
Scale 1. E - Extrovert through to I – IntrovertScale 2. S – Sensor through to N – Intuitor
Scale 3. T- Thinker through to F – Feeler
Scale4. J – Judger through to P – Perceiver
Metaprograms are filters to illustrate the way we describe the world we observe and feel around us. Please bear in mind that there are no good or bad types, they are merely useful models with a certain predictive power. Metaprograms are just a guide to the ways we filter information that our minds notice and are based on the more complex Myers-Briggs Personality inventory.
It is often useful to read and understand why we do things the way we do and also how our partners, friends and colleagues do what they do. This can help us to understand ourselves and the relationship we have with those close to us. This awareness can help us all improve the way we work, rest and play with each other.
Once the personality test is completed an evaluation is made as to where on each of the four scales you are. Giving you one of the 16 results, for example, E-N-T-P, this would mean that you are a Extrovert, Intuitor, Thinker, Perceiver.
